Customize a chart
The Unisphere Performance Management application enables the user to gather, view, and analyze performance data to troubleshoot and optimize the storage systems.

NOTE: For large charts that have 24 legend items or more, a generated PM report does not display as a chart but instead displays as a table. This is for readability or legibility purposes.

Steps
To customize a chart, hover over the chart, and do one or more of the following, depending on the options available:
- Change the chart type:
- Click
Chart Type. The following options are available:
- Timeline
- Snapshot
- Threshold
- Click
- Change the style of the chart:
- Click .
- Select a chart style. The types of chart styles available depend on the metrics that are selected for the current chart. Some or all the following chart styles are available:
- Line
- Bar
- Area
- Table
- Change the data format of the chart:
- Click
Data Format. Select one or both of the following:
- Average—Shows the average metric value for each metric in the table rows, for the session (hour). Average is the default.
- Max—Shows the maximum metric value—the high water mark—for each metric in the table rows, for the session (hour).
- Click
- Save the chart as an image:
- Click .
- Select JPG, PNG, or CSV.
- Specify a file name for the image file.
- Display a threshold on the chart (if thresholds have been set for a metric):
- Click .
NOTE: Threshold values are not displayed in table charts. - Display service level data on the chart:
- Click .
- Hide the chart legend:
- Click .
- Show information about the chart:
- Click

- To close the information pane, click .
- Click
- Maximize the chart:
- Click
.
- Click
- Minimize the chart:
- Click
.
- Click
- Restore a maximized chart to the default chart size:
- Click
.
- Click
- Remove the chart:
- Click
.
- Click
- Change the zoom level of a chart:
- Select an area on a chart to zoom into that area.
- To reset the zoom level to default, click Reset zoom.
